
AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
Camara Fairweather (b. 1998) is a biracial writer and artist from the United Kingdom. He has previously worked for BBC Three and flagship programs such as Newsnight.
At twenty, after two years of working in current affairs, he began studying English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, which is ranked among the top 25 British universities by The Times. While studying, his writing has been published in multiple literary magazines and paperback books.
Camara has also been long listed for the award-winning Penguin WriteNow programme for under represented writers. In 2020, he wrote the screenplay 'Darling' with his brother Mykea. 'Darling' has been selected for multiple international film festivals including the BAFTA qualifying ASFF.
